23 Dec Colour Perception in Colour Vision Deficiency Videos Now Available
We held a brilliant live online event from 4- 6pm (GMT) on 11th November focusing on colour vision deficiency (CVD).
Our speakers reported the result of their research exploring how perception is altered in CVD, how CVD can be diagnosed in young children, how colour information about red-green differences is processed differently in the brains of CVD observers, and how the EnChroma colour vision aid impacts colour vision in CVD. Video recordings of all five talks are now available below
- Alexandra Boehm (University of California, Berkeley): “Color appearance and discrimination in anomalous trichromacy”
- Kenneth Knoblauch (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale): “Compensation and Plasticity in Anomalous Chromatic Contrast Response”
- Teresa Tang (University of Sussex): “ColourSpot: An iPad screening test for colour vision deficiency in young children”
- Leticia Álvaro (Universidad Compultense de Madrid): “Metacognition in red-green dichromacy”
- Lucy Somers (University of Sussex): “The effectiveness of notched filters for improving colour vision in anomalous trichromacy”
